Imagine seeing the world from a whole new perspective, from the dance floor. My goal is to offer you the easiest way to learn to dance, and more importantly use what you know. With over 30 years of teaching ballroom, latin, and swing I am trained to deliver information quickly and professionally. I offer three options to choose from... group classes, private lessons, and social dance events so you can walk in today and dance out tonight!
Ballroom Group Classes
Group dance classes are a perfect way to progress in a fun, relaxed, social environment. From Salsa to Waltz to Swing, we hold group dance classes covering a variety of ballroom dance styles. Group classes are an efficient method to learn basic step patterns and dance styles in the company of others who share your interest and passion.
No partner required! Group classes are a social experience and we encourage all students to lead and follow with each other. Not only is it easier to get to know your fellow dancers that way but most importantly it strengthens your leading and following skills.
Ballroom Private Lessons
With private lessons you receive one on one attention. The lessons are tailored directly for your individual needs and will move along at your own pace.

Group lessons are great for learning and socialising, but it can sometimes be difficult to get individual and specific feedback. As much as teachers try to speak to everyone individually, they have to spend time with the whole of the class, and move at an average class pace, which could be too fast or too slow for you. Private lessons offer the quickest way to learn to dance because you are given immediate and constant personal feedback.
Youth and Young Adults
There are so many reasons for young people to dance, particularly ballroom, latin, and swing dancing! It helps to teach many skills that are both desireable and neccessary like compromise, leadership, and etiquette.
Now you have a great chance to let your child discover the wonderful world of Ballroom Dancing! Larinda is offering weekly group classes and private instruction. Creating a fun, productive and rewarding experience which allows each child to develop and grow individually. No prior dance experience is necessary!

Youth and Teen Classes
Larinda is a certified professional ballroom teacher trained to work with your child providing the basics of Partner Dancing in a fun and uplifting group environment. Balance, steps, musicality, posture, body language, eye contact and poise are emphasized among the youth in class from the first day. Learning to dance in a group setting is not only a great confidence builder but a stepping stone towards skills they will use for the rest of their lives.
Weddings or Special Dates
BRIDE AND GROOM... Start thinking of Wedding Dance Lessons early! You don't want to be rushing them in at the last minute when you are crunched for time.
Couples
If you have a special song picked out, GREAT! If not we will help you find the right one. You can learn a simple elegant freestyle dance or a amazing choreographed routine, complete with entrances, dips, lifts, and grand finales... And a note about songs, avoid “At Last” by Etta James or “Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. They are too slow and you can’t dance anything to them – other than clutch-n-sway.
Parents
And don't forget the Parents' Dances! Father-Daughter, Mother-Son. Or all Parents!
Wedding Party
WEDDING PARTY... And for added fun bring in the entire Wedding Party and learn to dance together. Thriller, Hammertime, Footloose, Grease Lightening, ...
